Clear thinking on digital, websites & AI.

Simple, low maintenance solutions for small to medium businesses. Independent, practical, plain English, with no more technology than you need.

Services

Three things, done properly.

Most small businesses don't need more software. They need the right few tools, set up well, and a plan for using them. That is what we help with.

01

Digital

Getting the foundations right.

We look at how work actually flows through your business, then simplify it. That might mean a clearer roadmap, tidier processes, better-connected systems, or a CRM your team will actually use.

  • Digital strategy and roadmaps
  • Process review and redesign
  • Systems, integration and automation
  • Project manage your transformation
02

Website

A site that works quietly in the background.

We plan and build websites that are easy to maintain and honest about what you do. If you already have one, we can migrate it, fix it, or simply keep it running.

  • Planning, structure and content
  • Design and build
  • Migration from an existing platform
  • Hosting, security and maintenance
03

AI

Adopt AI carefully, on your terms.

AI can save real time in a small business, but only if confidentiality, accuracy and staff confidence are dealt with first. We help you choose tools, set sensible rules, and run a small pilot before committing.

  • Safe adoption planning
  • Confidentiality and usage policy
  • Vendor-independent tool selection
  • Staff training and supervised pilots

Approach

How we work.

Short stages, a written view before any commitment, and nothing built until the decision is clear.

  1. 1

    Listen

A conversation about your business, what is frustrating, and what "better" would look like.

  2. 2

    Assess

We review your current systems, site and ways of working, and give you a short written view of options and costs.

  3. 3

    Deliver

We do the agreed work ourselves, or guide your team and suppliers through it — whichever suits.

  4. 4

    Settle in

Handover, training and a check-in once things are running, so the improvements stick.

Who we work with

Businesses where trust matters more than trends.

Most of our clients are on Sydney's North Shore and Northern Beaches — from Chatswood and Gordon to Manly, Dee Why and Mona Vale — with others across greater Sydney and, remotely, around Australia.

Professional services

Accountants, lawyers, architects and advisers who need reliable systems and a considered approach to client confidentiality.

Family-owned businesses

Established businesses where technology decisions carry weight across generations.

Trades and construction

Quoting, scheduling and job management that hold up in the field, not just in the office.

Manufacturing and wholesale

Connecting orders, inventory and customer records so the same data isn't typed three times.

Owner-operated services

Clinics, studios and consultancies with a small team and no in-house IT.

About

A small consultancy, deliberately.

Andrew Walshe-Cutter, Senior Consultant

Jotunfjell is led by Andrew Walshe-Cutter. As Senior Consultant, Andrew combines a professional project management background, including Government, Financial Services and Industry, with hands-on operational day-to-day experience.

We think this mix matters. Advice is only useful if it survives contact with a real business, and we know what matters to you: your customers, your people and your cash-flow. We work in plain language, keep engagements short and defined, and would rather tell you not to buy something than sell it to you.

The Jotunfjell approach is to seek simple & elegant solutions, that are low maintenance, with long term benefits for your business. If you want to know more about the framework that guides our approach, please visit www.SSLMproject.com.

FAQ

Common questions.

How does an engagement usually work?

Most start with a short, fixed-scope assessment. From there we agree on a defined piece of work or an ongoing arrangement. You are never committed beyond the current stage.

Do you charge fixed fees or by the hour?

Fixed fees for defined projects, quoted before we begin. Advisory and support work is available on a monthly retainer or hourly, whichever you prefer.

How do you handle confidential information?

Everything you share is treated as confidential and we are happy to sign an NDA. For AI work, we can help you with the selection of AI tools, and with the design and implementation of AI policies and practices that protect your customers and your business, and ensure you are operating within the regulations on privacy and confidentiality. We advise specifically on which data should never leave your systems, and we do not use client information to train or test tools.

Do you build things, or just advise?

Both. We can deliver the work ourselves, or advise while your team or existing suppliers do the build. We will tell you which we think is the better fit.

Do you work onsite or remotely?

We are based on Sydney's North Shore and happy to meet in person across the North Shore, Northern Beaches and greater Sydney. Much of the work can be done remotely, and we work with clients elsewhere in Australia that way.

How do we get started?
